Main research fields: Engaging the study of orogenic belts sedimentation, accretionary complex and regional tectonic evolution. The study areas mainly involve Qinling Mountains, Qilian and Qin Hangzhou boundary belt. He has directed and participated in a number of national projects, published many papers on academic journals at home and abroad.
